This is to inform you that the new SCAC(Standard Carrier Alpha Code) "YMJA”for Yang Ming Joint Service Agreement and associated adjustment on B/L printing format and EDI files will be effective on 2023/10/01.
The Effective date and rules of the switch
U.S. trades :
The effective starting voyages of each loop are listed in 1st attachment.
Non U.S. trades :
Effective from 2023/Oct/01 (according to long term ETD of B/L Loading Voyage/On board date)
Impacts on EDI Messages/Elements
Please note the new B/L number prefix and SCAC code "YMJA" will be applied in EDI columns as a substitution for "YMPR" or "YMLU". The main impact is listed as below (click below Appendix for all EDI messages and segments/elements)
Kindly note, Appendix listed all EDI Message with elements related to this change, if you do not have some EDI Messages with us, please ignore it.
1. B/L Number Prefix: current prefix "YMLU" or "YMPR" will be changed to "YMJA" in EDI file.
2. SCAC code: current SCAC code "YMLU" will be changed to "YMJA" in EDI file.
3. For AMS filing: SCAC "YMJA" will be provided in the current N9 segment - N9*^SCA / RFF segment - RFF SCA
