This is to inform you that Yang Ming B/L prefix and SCAC (Standard Carrier Alpha Code) for all trades will be changed to “YMJA”.

Impacts on EDI Messages/Elements

Please note the new B/L number prefix and SCAC code "YMJA" will be applied in EDI columns as a substitution for "YMPR" or "YMLU". The main impact is listed as below (click below Appendix for all EDI messages and segments/elements)

  1. B/L Number Prefix: current prefix  "YMLU" or "YMPR"  will be changed to "YMJA" in EDI file. 

   2. SCAC code: current SCAC code "YMLU" will be changed to "YMJA" in EDI file.

   3. For AMS/ACI filing: SCAC "YMJA" will be provided in the current N9 segment - N9*^SCA / RFF segment - RFF SCA
